Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 2026

These terms explain how I work with my clients in my Coaching practice. I’ve tried to keep this clear and straightforward, if anything is unclear, just ask.

1. WHAT I DO (AND WHAT I DON’T DO)

I provide professional non-directive coaching services in English, Italian, and Spanish. Coaching is a partnership between coach and client that helps you identify goals, overcome obstacles, and develop concrete action strategies to achieve specific objectives.

What coaching is NOT:

Coaching is not therapy or psychotherapy. Coaching is action-oriented and focused on future goals, not on diagnosing or treating psychological conditions. If therapeutic needs emerge during our work together, I’ll communicate this openly and help you find appropriate professional support.

Coaching is not consulting. Coaching isn’t a consulting service where I tell you how to manage the problems you’re facing. I won’t tell you what to do based on pre-packaged frameworks. The answers depend on your specific needs and the work we do in sessions.

Coaching is not mentoring. Coaching doesn’t rely on my direct experience. In some cases I might share insights or observations based on my background, but I’ll make it clear these are personal opinions and not the result of my professional analysis of the themes we’re exploring in session.

What coaching IS:

  • A process that helps you clarify goals and develop concrete action plans
  • A space to explore new perspectives on professional and personal challenges
  • A method to discover your untapped potential and apply it practically

Coaching doesn’t come with guarantees. Your results depend on your commitment, your willingness to change, and the actions you decide to take. My role is to create the space and provide the tools; yours is to use them.

2. WHO CAN USE THESE SERVICES

You need to be at least 18 years old and able to make informed decisions about your life. By working with me, you’re confirming that you’re not in crisis and don’t have untreated conditions that would make coaching inappropriate.

Your responsibilities as a client are straightforward: show up prepared and on time, be honest, take ownership of your decisions, follow through on what you commit to, give me reasonable notice if you need to reschedule, and pay on time.

3. SESSION STRUCTURE

Duration and Frequency: Sessions have a standard duration of 60+ minutes. In some cases, when we both have availability and the session might require it, we may extend beyond the hour. Session frequency is agreed upon together based on your objectives and needs.

Format: Sessions take place online via Google Meet. You’ll receive the access link via email or WhatsApp before each meeting. In case of technical problems, we can conduct video calls via WhatsApp or other alternative tools agreed upon case by case.

We’ll schedule sessions by email or through my booking system. You’ll get a confirmation with the date, time, and video link.

4. SCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations and Rescheduling: You can cancel or reschedule a session at no cost with at least 24 hours notice. I ask you to communicate this via email or WhatsApp as soon as possible.

Same-Day Cancellations: In case of same-day cancellation (less than 24 hours notice), I’ll do my best to fill the freed slot. If this isn’t possible, the session will be considered used and charged, since that time was reserved exclusively for you. Communicating the emergency as early as possible increases the chances of avoiding the charge.

Here’s my no-show policy:

A “no-show” means you don’t show up without telling me, or you arrive more than 15 minutes late without advance communication.

First no-show: No charge. I’m aware that unexpected situations can happen. We’ll reschedule.

Second no-show and beyond: The session will be considered used and fully charged.

About being late: If you’re running late, just send me a quick message. If you arrive within 15 minutes, we’ll use the remaining time available. If I have time in my schedule and can accommodate you for the full session duration, I will, but I can’t always promise that. The important thing is to communicate.

True emergencies: I get it, unexpected things happen. I make exceptions for documentable emergency situations. If you’ve had a genuine emergency (a family crisis, sudden illness, car accident, something serious) I’m always open to reason and will work with you to find a solution. If my schedule allows and I haven’t had to turn someone else away to keep your spot, I’ll do my best to accommodate you without charge.

The bottom line is this: as a general rule, I allow one violation of this policy at no cost. After that, the sessions need to be paid for. But I’m a reasonable person, and if you communicate with me about what’s happening, we’ll figure it out together.

5. PAYMENT

We’ll discuss pricing during our free initial consultation. Rates vary based on whether you’re doing individual coaching, team coaching, or buying a package of sessions.

Payment methods: Bank transfer, Global66, PayPal, credit/debit card, or P2P cryptocurrency (USDT/BTC). Contact me directly to receive the necessary details for each method.

For single sessions: Payment must be made before the appointment.

For session packages: Full payment is made at the beginning of the process, before the first session. Once payment is made, I ask you to send me proof of the completed transfer via email or WhatsApp.

If payment isn’t received, we’ll need to pause scheduling until we’re current.

Refunds on packages: If you’ve prepaid for sessions you don’t use, I’ll refund the unused sessions. Completed sessions will be calculated at the unit price (losing the discount benefit obtained by purchasing the package), and you’ll receive the difference compared to the purchased package. Refunds are processed within 7 working days.

The first consultation is genuinely free, no tricks, no obligations.

6. COMPATIBILITY AND ENDING THE RELATIONSHIP

The compatibility between coach and client is fundamental to coaching success. That’s why I offer a first free session without commitment, allowing you to evaluate whether my approach is right for you.

You can stop coaching anytime by letting me know through the contact form on the website, via email, or WhatsApp. You’ll just need to pay for any sessions already completed.

We both have the right to stop the journey at any time if:

  • There’s no mutual rapport or trust
  • You feel the coaching isn’t producing value
  • Needs emerge that require a different type of professional support
  • You’re not honoring these terms
  • You’re behaving abusively
  • Payments aren’t happening

If you decide to stop, I only ask you to communicate it honestly. It’s part of my ethical commitment to help you find the most suitable support, even if it’s not me.

When we’re done working together, you still owe any outstanding payments, confidentiality continues forever, and any unused prepaid sessions get refunded as described in the payment section.

7. REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS ABOUT RESULTS

Coaching is a process of gradual transformation, not an instant solution. Here’s what you can realistically expect:

  • Clarity and focus: Better defining your goals and the actions needed to reach them
  • Practical strategies: Developing concrete, personalized action plans
  • Gradual progress: Sustainable changes take time. Don’t expect immediate results, but rather consistent improvements

Coaching doesn’t guarantee specific results. Effectiveness depends on your commitment, your willingness to change, and the actions you decide to take. My role is to create the space and provide the tools; yours is to use them.

I’m not liable for the results of your decisions, whether they’re about your career, business, relationships, or anything else. I’m also not responsible for technical problems like internet outages or video conferencing issues, though I’ll reschedule if technology fails us.

My total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the services in question.

8. COMMUNICATION BETWEEN SESSIONS

Between sessions, you can contact me to:

  • Reschedule appointments
  • Confirm actions or brief clarifications
  • Share quick updates on your progress

Preferred channels: Email and WhatsApp. I generally respond within 24 to 48 hours on working days. For complex matters requiring in-depth discussion, I’ll suggest bringing them to the next session where we’ll have adequate space to explore them.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY

Everything you share during our sessions is strictly confidential and protected by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Code of Ethics. I will not share information about you with third parties without your explicit written consent.

Exceptions to confidentiality: Confidentiality has limits in the following cases, in accordance with the law and ICF Code of Ethics:

  • Imminent risk of harm to yourself or others
  • Abuse or maltreatment of minors, elderly, or vulnerable people
  • Court order or legal obligation to disclose
  • I consult with my coaching supervisor (your information would be anonymized)
  • I need to defend myself in a legal dispute related to our work

If I’m working with you at the request of an organization (corporate coaching), we’ll define together what general information (without personal details) can be shared with the coaching sponsor.

That said, I do occasionally share insights and learning from my coaching practice. This might include questions I’ve asked, frameworks I’ve used, or challenges clients have worked through. When I do this, I share it in a completely aggregated and anonymized way: no names, no identifying details, nothing that could connect it to you specifically or even to your nationality, language, profession, or any other characteristic that might identify you. The point is to help others learn from coaching conversations, not to reveal anything about you.

For more details on how I handle your data, see the Privacy Policy.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The coaching frameworks and materials I use are mine. Your insights, notes, and action plans are yours. Any handouts or resources I share are for your personal use only, don’t republish or sell them.

Don’t record sessions without asking first.

11. DISPUTES

If something goes wrong or you’re unhappy, let’s talk about it directly first. Most issues can be sorted out with a conversation.

If we can’t resolve it ourselves, we’ll try mediation before anyone lawyers up.

These terms are governed by the laws of your country if you’re in the EU, California law if you’re in the US, Chilean law if you’re in Chile, and general international commercial principles otherwise.

Legal proceedings would happen in your jurisdiction for consumer protection.

12. PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

I follow the ICF Code of Ethics. This means maintaining your confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, operating with integrity, coaching only within my competence, and referring you elsewhere when appropriate. I keep appropriate professional boundaries, no dual relationships, no romantic involvement, clear separation between coaching and friendship.

The ICF Code is currently the highest professional standard in coaching. For more information: coachingfederation.org/ethics/code-of-ethics

13. TESTIMONIALS

After we work together, I might ask if you’d be willing to share feedback or a testimonial. You’re not obligated to do this. If you do provide one and approve it, I may use it on my website, typically with just your name initials, profession and/or nationality.

I won’t disclose that you’re a client without your explicit permission.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

I might update these terms occasionally. If I do, I’ll change the date at the top and let you know about significant changes. If you keep using my services after that, you’re agreeing to the new terms.

If you have a separate written coaching agreement with me, that takes priority over these general terms.

15. FINAL NOTES

These terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any written coaching agreement we sign, make up our complete understanding.

If any part of this turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Not enforcing something once doesn’t mean I’ve given up the right to enforce it later.

You can’t transfer your rights under this agreement. I could assign mine if I sell the business.

Neither of us is responsible for not performing if something beyond our control prevents it; natural disasters, pandemics, wars, that kind of thing.
